the earliest thing you can remember? 1st grade? Kindergarten? Preschool?
I can remember things from before I was 3 years old. I have 1 memory from when I was in diapers and all of my friends are calling shenanigans!
We’ll ignore the diaper memory for now. But here are some of my favorites (more like the ones that standout the most).
1. Mom and I were going to blow bubbles while sitting on the front porch. It was a really tall bottle of bubbles. We brought Shogun with us, that was our dog at the time. He somehow got tangled between mom and the bubbles. Mom got a rope burn from the leash and the bubbles went tumbling. No bubbles for Bryners! And mom had a burn on her ankle. This was at our old house, pre Stacey – so pre 3-year-old Bryn.
2. I was having a conversation with my grandma and she was feeding me dried fruit from a gift basket she got for her birthday. Again, at our old house.
3. I rolled myself up in blanket like a burrito. Really tight. And I was planning on taking a nap like that. Mom walks in and thought I was tangled, so she untangled me. But we couldn’t get me wrapped like a burrito again.
4. I remember putting stickers on a calendar when I wouldn’t wet the bed. Again, at the old house….so no jokes about doing this in MS or HS.
Nick’s earliest memory is from 4 years old. So…what about you?
