headed to Bejing yesterday! To get ready, we watched Kung Fu Panda 2 while sitting on the couch with our shih tzu! Everything you need to know about China can be learned from Jack Black, Angelina Jolie and an overweight puppy (yes yes, he’s just big boned). But seriously, it was a cute movie and we really love our dog. We finally learn about Po (the Panda) and his dad, the goose (and Mochi got a nice long nap with his family). Good stuff.
My predictions for the trip.
1. Nick will misplace me at least a half dozen times. It’s not a matter of if but a matter of when. He will lose me in the sea of black haired people. I’m not concerned. I will never misplace my 6’1″, high-fivin-white-guy 🙂
2. I will also bond with a quirky and creative 20 something from SF. He or she will work for apple and have interesting stories to tell about working with Steve Jobs.
3. I will take too many pictures of food and not enough pictures of Nick and I (mental note that I should try and take more of the 2 of us together).
4. I will eat something that is super gross but also something that is super tasty. Hopefully the super tasty thing will follow the super gross thing so I can get the flavor out of my mouth.
5. I will return home with an eager desire to travel even more 🙂
