dancing kind.

In light of the recent ballet hiatus, I’m checking out a modern class at the studio.

I’m not a modern kind of gal, so we’ll see how this goes.  I imagine I’ll be sore on Sunday.

They are having a “show” at the end of the school year.  For all intents and purposes, it’s a recital.  But heaven forbid I be in a recital at age 27.  I haven’t decided yet if it’s something I’m interested in doing.  I’m kind of a dance snob.  Which is odd, considering the last time I performed was in middle school and I’m pretty sure the outfit included white and red striped spandex.  But I watch too much “So you think you can dance” – so now I want awesome choreography….not that my body moves that way…..but I want to believe I’m capable of all that.  We’ll see how this class goes.

BTW – I wore my pedometer all day on Thursday and had 10,518 steps by 8PM.  Not too shabby.
