San Jose Earthquakes were playing Real Salt Lake. They don’t have their own stadium, so they play at Santa Clara (it’s a pretty tiny stadium….similar to a large High School Stadium).
Unfortunately, it was INCREDIBLY RAINY! Some of the worst rain ever. But we were prepared! Plastic bags for the seats, rain coats, multiple layers, and of course – my running blankets!
We ended up leaving at half – too wet for us. The Earthquakes ended up losing….0-1. So we didn’t miss much action. All in all, a fun experience. I’d go again…..when it’s dry.
