Happy Hump Day Giveaway!

Wednesdays are both happy and sad.

Wednesday morning I’m always thinking, “ugh, why isn’t it Thursday yet.”  And by Wednesday afternoon I’m thinking, “Yippee!  It’s almost Thursday!”

A roller coaster of emotions I tell you.

In an effort to thwart the Wednesday morning blues, I’ve decided to giveaway some cookies to 1 lucky reader.

Delicious and dip-able all at the same time!

So how do you get a batch of these glorious treats?

1.  You MUST leave a comment and include your favorite compost cookie ingredient or an ingredient you think I should add.

2.  Get one additional entry by blogging or facebooking about the cookie giveaway and leave a separate comment telling me you did it.  If you screw up and put parts 1&2 in 1 comment, I’ll make a sad face on your behalf.

I’ll be using a random number generator to pick the winner.

Max 2 entries per person, open to US residents only (sorry, but I can’t ship 2 dozen cookies to Iceland).  Contest ends next Tuesday (September 20th) at midnight PST.

I’m up for a try at free cookies! Since I haven’t tried compost cookies, I’ll have to say the butterscotch chips would probably be my favorite ingredient. But I might add some mini M&Ms to add some color pizzazz to an otherwise kinda blond cookie.

Ever thought of adding coconut?

Maybe honey roasted peanuts, or pecans? Or just salted peanuts or pecans? Some sort of salted nut!

I’m really bad at following directions, and without Jody’s expert guidance, I never would have posted another comment! And since I can be very random at times, I think my number should be up!

And my questionable ingredient would be something involving coffee…though I think chocolate covered espresso beans might be too crunchy…

Alright, it feels very stalker-ish that I’ve never met you and I’m trying to get in on your cookie giveaway, but Marissa Brummitt convinced me to go for it (I’m her roommate btw, and also named Marisa lol). As an avid cookie baker myself, I LOVE the idea of these cookies. As for my fave ingredient, I’m all about the coffee grounds. I’m also pretty obsessed with stout beer in baked goods, but that might be too much liquid in this case (although I also really like the above whisky idea!).

OOOOHHHHH!!! Let me be the winner!!! AGAIN!!! Raf actually mentioned this giveaway the other night. And I was like: NO WAY, HOW DID I NOT HEAR OF THIS!?! And he was like, I guess you can’t win twice. Wanna bet?!?!? BRING IT ON RANDOM NUMBER GENERATOR!!!

Oh, and don’t change any ingredients. Seriously. Or I might be pissed. You know addicts don’t like their formulas being messed with! But really, it’s all about the COFFEE!!! Can you tell I’ve had some today?? Coffee, that is. Not garbage cookies. Boo Hoo.
