from work.
From softball.
I went 3 for 5 and one of my hits actually hit grass. Over the pitcher. For those keeping track, this is the furthest grass. Then I power bunted my way to 2 more hits. Batting 0.600 (for the game). What now, Ichiro?
On a completely different note, I just got a “dependent verification” letter. Sandia is confirming that Nick is really my husband. Proof? They want a copy of the first page of our 2010 federal tax return OR a copy of the marriage certificate AND “a document dated within the last 60 days showing current relationship status.” I’m not going to start about how I think it’s dumb that we have to be married to get benefits. It’s really the only reason I married the kid…..I jest.
A few things.
1. Kind of funny that you can just fork over your taxes and your good. But if you want to provide your marriage certificate, you must also give more information. You’d think the certificate would be good enough. I mean, it’s signed by witnesses and everything. Very legit. Obtained in secret…..but very legit.
2. I’m reading the part about, “a document dated within the last 60 days showing current relationship status” and the first thing I think is, “hmm, wonder if I can just print screen my facebook relationship status.” Best and brightest.
If I had kids, they’d need a copy of the birth certificate. Doesn’t specify if it must be the long form.
Glad we’re spending money on this.
