Pretend there’s an accent over the “e” in ombre.
Ombre means shaded or graduated in tone: said of color.
And guess what? People are ombre-ing their nails. You better believe I was all over that.
After a not-so-ombre-cool attempt on Friday, I jumped on over to Lisa’s house where we laid all of our colors out and chose the best color combo. I went for a muted warm-grey palette.
I think it turned out quite nice. What do you think?
Yeah, a little weird. But we saw it in a trashy magazine, so you know it has to be in style. I knocked skinny jeans for awhile, and then I bought some. And it’s something different. Oh, and the only person at work that would possibly call me out on it, is Lisa….and she painted them….so I’m good. I wonder how long it will take before someone at work asks if I did it on purpose.
Tune back in tomorrow for my toes. Nope, not ombre……CRACKLE!
P.S. If anyone is interested, I used all OPI or OPI for Sephora colors. If you’d like the exact colors, let me know.

I love them!!!
My favorite thing related to this point was not included: Ombre nails are the perfect way for you to get maximum utility out of you 1783 nail polish colors. Now Nick can’t get mad if you buy more colors when you need 5 per paint job!
