shower this past weekend? I intend to milk it the rest of the week.
We served a sausage casserole that got rave reviews (far left, thanks for the pic, Brooke), so I’m posting it here. Thanks, Kelly!
1 package of Crescent rolls (8 or 10 oz can. We bought the 8 oz can for the jumbo crescent rolls and had a little extra dough)
6 eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 package pre cooked sausage links (8-10 links, Kelly suggested the frozen, red/yellow package, original flavor of “brown and serve”)
Dash of pepper
Preheat oven to 375.
Grease 9×13 pan.
Unroll the crescent rolls in the bottom of the pan.
Cut up sausage links into ½ inch pieces; sprinkle evenly throughout the pan.
Spread the cheese over the sausage.
Whisk eggs, milk, and pepper; pour evenly into pan.
Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until top is golden brown.
I wish it were more difficult so I could take credit for executing a difficult dish. But it’s actually really easy and delicious!
