I was in Seattle last week, part work, part fun.
Do you live in Seattle? I’m a little jealous. Not because of the awesome weather, but because of restaurant week!
Lots of Seattle area restaurants pick out a specific menu for patrons. $28 gets you an appetizer, entree and dessert. Not a bad deal for some of Seattle’s swanky eats.
Last Thursday I had a tasty dinner at Seatown. Did I mention my sis is a hostess there? She’s great. Go say hi on Friday night or Sunday afternoon. But what you really want to know is what we ate. Because it was delicious.
We had baked oysters, pumpkin spoon bread and rotisserie tri-tip.
I usually only like oysters raw (gross? give it a try). But these were delicious. I think it was because the oysters were chopped and had an added crunch. The spoon bread was like a fancy Thanksgiving dinner in your mouth and the rotisserie tri-tip had a hashrbrown and baked egg. Kind like breakfast with dinner.

if you don’t go for the apps or entrees, go for dessert.
The chai panna cotta is a chai flavored creme brule. And it comes with some tasty little gingersnaps. So creamy and delicious. The apple dumplin’ is like a mini croissant-apple-pie and it even comes with ice cream. And if you don’t like either of those, the seatown cream cake with Theo’s chocolate ganache should do the trick. Did you eat anything super delicious this weekend?
